Three Generations of Hospitality Excellence

The story of Azerbizan Oasis begins in 1987, when Eldar and Leyla Mammadov opened the doors to their modest guesthouse in Gabala with a revolutionary idea: that every guest, regardless of their background, deserved to experience the legendary Azerbaijani hospitality.

What started as a 12-room establishment with hand-woven Azerbaijani carpets and traditional home-cooked meals has blossomed into one of the region's most celebrated luxury destinations. Nestled in the stunning Gabala mountains, we have never forgotten our founders' simple philosophy.

Today, under the leadership of Rashad Mammadov, the third generation of the family, we continue to write new chapters in our legacy while preserving the warmth and authenticity that have defined us for over three decades.

1987

The Beginning

Eldar and Leyla Mammadov opened a charming 12-room guesthouse in the foothills of Gabala, driven by their passion for welcoming travelers to Azerbaijan.

1995

Growing Dreams

The property expanded to 45 rooms, introducing the first spa facilities and the signature Oasis Garden.

2003

International Recognition

Azerbizan Oasis received its first international luxury certification and welcomed guests from over 50 countries.

2012

The Grand Renovation

A complete transformation added 80 new suites, three restaurants, and world-class amenities.

2018

Michelin Stars

Our signature restaurant, The Azure, earned two Michelin stars under Chef Marcus Rivera.
